Manufacturing & Processing Procedure

The Following Process is used in the Factory of M/s Aryavrat Global Ventures Pvt. Ltd.:

  1. When the Raw Materials arrive at the Factory, it is checked aesthetically by the QC person, if it is wet or not, has it not gained any moisture, whether the bags are properly sealed or torned, etc. Only if the RM is found suitable for unload, it is unloaded. Otherwise, it is returned to the supplier.
  2. The Approved bags are then unloaded and transferred to the loading and unloading area where the QC checks the items in detail through a sampling plan. He checks the dimensional, physical properties, moisture content, colour, etc and then approves the bags which are found satisfactory. It marks a sticker as QC Approved/Reject on the bags.
  3. The Approved bags are shifted to the Raw Materials Section and is stacked as per the Size of the Raw Materials.
  4. One Truck Materials are considered to be one batch of Raw Materials and accordingly barcode is printed on the Bags.
  5. Every truck has a separate Batch No. so that we can track the RM history properly.
  6. When the production is starting, only one batch of RM will be used in 1 day, so that we can get Batch wise output of Raw Materials and can also assess the suppliers accordingly.
  7. During the day shift of 8 Hrs we can easily process around 500 Bags of Makhanas which is close to 5 MT.
  8. The RM Store Supervisor issues the RM to the Production Floor Supervisor and then the Makhana is passed through the Hauler Machine, which removes the dusts, blackness, dirty particles, etc from the Makhanas.
  9. Thereafter the clean makhanas are sent to the Grader Machines for Size Wise Grading of the Makhanas. In total we have 2 Grader Machines.
  10. The Grader Machines then sorts the Makhanas Size Wise and these different Size Makhanas are packed in the PP Food Grade Bags with Plastic LLDPE Bags inside it. So, it creates a two layer of protection for Makhanas, and it will not gain moisture.
  11. Thereafter, if it is required that the flat makhanas need to be separated from Round Makhanas, we will have to use Chipta Machine, which solves the same purpose.
  12. After Chipta Machine the Makhanas are again re-sorted on Hand Picking Table, which is made of S.S Material and the person sitting beside the table hand picks the Semi-Round Makhanas, dark yellow makhanas, etc and make the rest of it as more premium quality.
  13. The Makhana which is not removed from the Hand Picking Table and is round in shape are called Hand Picked Makhanas and it is of highest quality and price.
  14. The more the size and better the shape and whiteness leads to hand picked makhana category and it has a higher value.
  15. We also have a colour sorter machine where in we can sort the Makhanas colour wise. The Colour Sorter Machine is used only when the customer specifically says that they want white colour makhanas and none of them should be brown or yellow.
  16. All these varieties are packed in different PP Laminated Bags with Plastic LLDPE Bag inside it. Later when the customer demands a particular category of Makhanas, we sell it in two kinds of Packaging.
  17. One Packing is the PP Bags and we will sell it as such without any further modifications.
  18. The Other packing is the Small Packets of 100 Gms or 250 Gms separately. In this case the Packets are sent through Bar Coding Machine where all the details of the company are marked along with the Bar Code GS-1.
  19. Then the Makhanas are packed in the Packets through the Semi-Automatic Packaging Machine and then these packets are packed in either corrugated boxes or PP Bags again and stored in the FG Area.
  20. In the FG Storage Area, the PP Bags and the Small Packets are stored.
  21. Each Day has one batch no. for FG. All the Makhanas that are produced in one day of 8 Hrs Shift has one batch no. and the same is also pasted through Bar Code Sticker on PP Bags or the small bags through the Bar Code Printer Machine.
  22. While Dispatch the BAR Codes are scanned and then the materials are loaded on the truck to maintain proper traceability.
  23. Every FG which is packed, is done QC check with required test through a sampling plan and once the QC approves it, only then it is packed in the bags.
